TICKETS: Hurucan rarely sell out home fixtures. Tickets can be purchased the week of the game via their website. You will need to register for free online at Registrarse - Huracán Sede Digital in order to purchase and receive your e-ticket for the game. 

PRE MATCH: Hinchas (fans) of Hurucan purchase their beers and meet along Avenida Colonia en route to the stadium from the Caseros Subte (underground) station. 


HISTORY IN A NUTSHELL: Hurucan was founded in 1908 and first played in the Primera in 1914. They first won the league in 1922 and have gone on to lift the Primera League title on five occasions. 

 

DID YOU KNOW?: In 2009 Huracan took the league race to the wire. They played Velez who were also battling for the title on the last day of the season. The game ended in controversy after a Hurucan goal was dissalowed prompting protests from the Hurucan bench. The game ended 0-0 and Velez won the title. The referee of the game, Gabriel Brazenas, never took charge of a Primera League game again. 


TOP TIPS: Purchasing a ticket in the Alcorta stand will allow you to sit anywhere you like in that stand and allow you to explore the impressive marble interior of the stadium.
